After being the youngest graduate of her Top Gun class, Lieutenant Auriela "Dice" Cortell is called back to be apart of one more mission for the US Navy. While she may be used to the intensity and adrenaline that comes with being a Fighter Pilot, this mission will bring low hard decks, high speeds, lots of G-forces, and, surprisingly, an old rival. One Lieutenant Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw was one of Auriela's classmates in Top Gun. And here they stand again as competitors to fight to earn a spot to accompany their instructor on the mission. As the pilots spend three weeks together in an intense and stressful training program, Dice and Rooster discover that rival-like feelings aren't the only things they share.

Maverick loses her RIO and almost dies in a training flight. When Tom Kazansky aka Iceman(Val Kilmer) comes to her bungalow to jump down her throat about something she did in training and he has a change of heart once he sees how vulnerable Maverick is to the harshness of Top Gun.

As the only female pilot at Top Gun, (Y/N), or Quicksilver, often finds herself competing to prove her competence. However, on one flight, she finds herself in a dangerous situation which she may not survive, and a certain wingman is surprisingly concerned for her safety...
