Her laugh was easily contagious, I couldn't help but not laugh with her, even if it was just a small nostril-flare kind of thing. "Yeah, I do." She turned to me slightly, and straightened her posture. "You've seen John Tucker Must Die, right?" She asked, and I summoned the most 'no, duh' expression I possibly could give her. "Perfect. Let's John Tucker the hell out of that motherfucker." ☾ ˚✩ ⋆。˚ ✩ ˚✩ ⋆。˚ ✩ • ☽ Abby Reynolds is your average high school senior who's just trying to ace her AP exams to get into her top schools, be a good daughter to her parents, and a loving girlfriend to her boyfriend. Here's a bombshell for you: I have eight brothers. Eight extremely attractive, smart, mischievous, crazy overprotective brothers. Well, step brothers. Trust me when I say that it didn't start out that way, with me having eight step brothers. My father got remarried when I was sixteen. Another bombshell for you: I had no clue that the marriage was happening until about three months before, and I only found out because we were moving from Texas to New York in a week. Yeah, my father wasn't huge on the whole 'sharing' thing. But, that's not what you opened up this book to read, now is it? Well, I should probably start telling you the legitimate start of the story. (Heads up here, guys. This book is about abuse and will have occasional swearing in it. Okay, that's my warning. Have a nice day!)

Evanna Halls, a 12 year old girl tries to overcome her mental illnesses while dealing with bullies in school and a divorce from their parents. After a horrific accident, she is forced to move away from her normal life and move in with her dad, who became the step-father of 6 boys, making her their newest step-sister. Jayden, the youngest boy, who is the same age as her, despises her the most. Throughout the book, his backstory, along with many other dark secrets will be figured out. Author's Note:
I wrote this book when I was a teenager, during a time when I was working through a lot of intense feelings and experiences in my own life. The story reflects that period of my imagination and emotional processing. Some of the content involves abuse, bullying, and mental health struggles, and it may be difficult or triggering for some readers. I've shared this story because it helped me feel seen and understood when I needed it most, and I hope it can offer some sense of connection or comfort to others as well. Please take care of yourself while reading.
