She moved to Hawkins after her parents died, she now has a job babysitting, mostly babysitting Will Byers while his mom and brother are working. That's what she was doing the night they disappeared, because when they are both run off the road by a monster a whole lot of bad and strange things happen. The next day they wake up in a different world and realize they are trapped. Can she protect him? Will their friends find them? Or will they get separated before they can escape?
