No Zucco, No Slade, No Batman. Dick just turns away from society all together. He became an assassin, he kills for money or anyone who ever does anything to a family. He's definitely not completely sane. Even some of the big villains in Gotham fear him. He goes by a new name, one that perfectly fits his persona.
