After a year and a half of no search parties, he caved into the brutal ways of the Galran prince, Prince Lotor. Over time, Prince Lotor gained Lance's trust, and Lance grew feelings for the prince. Many colonies and planets collapsed into wars once Lotor took power, keeping Voltron busy. Lance eventually returns to the team, only to find Allura had replaced him. He felt distanced from the team, his only connection being Keith, his boyfriend. Can Lance free himself from the Prince's intoxicating charm? As their journey goes on, Lance, Keith, and Lotor become an inseparable group, until Lotor is forced to step down. They all go in different directions, some to certain death, some to exile. When the rest of team Voltron leave Lance alone with Coran for 2 months because he apparently doesn't qualify for the mission or whatever, Lance ends up spending more time with the red lion and the 10,000-year-old alien that's staying with him. Coran, also left behind, grows closer to Lance and both share some skeletons in the closet. For Lance, he's hiding something big, preferably not revealed to the rest of the team. And for Coran, let's just say his life isn't all smiles and happiness. When the rest of the team comes back, they are quite surprised to find out the resident goofball and the mechanic have become...closer, and they are hiding something. Can the team find out what the two were hiding? Did Lance gain any perks from bonding with his lion, which the rest of the team doesn't seem interested in? Keith should be happy, he didn't have to be the Black Paladin anymore. Except that's not exactly how it played out. Lotor had different plans. What really happened to Shiro?
