I haven't... I haven't seen the sun, not in a very long long time... I remember how it felt against my skin, the heat, how it would use to blind me. I haven't seen plants, trees, grass, the ocean, a lake, an animal. I've never been outside, it's the same for all of us, us survivors. The world went to hell, to war 72 years ago against brains and brauns, scientist created a bomb that was suppose to end the war but instead it destroyed the world. But there where survivors, we've been living underground in our base camp we call "underworld", it's total hell down here. Recently some of us go back to the surface 20ft above, some don't come back, the ones that do come back, they talk about people, people like us but far from a civil mind, we call them the rabids. I never thought I'd see one, ever, that when it's safe to go up that I'd get to see the sun again, people call me crazy cause I still train myself to go up even if I'm to small, I don't fit their expectations. Not all of us do. But shit goes down when we capture a rabid from the surface.

Many colonies and planets collapsed into wars once Lotor took power, keeping Voltron busy. Lance eventually returns to the team, only to find Allura had replaced him. He felt distanced from the team, his only connection being Keith, his boyfriend. Can Lance free himself from the Prince's intoxicating charm? As their journey goes on, Lance, Keith, and Lotor become an inseparable group, until Lotor is forced to step down. They all go in different directions, some to certain death, some to exile. When the rest of team Voltron leave Lance alone with Coran for 2 months because he apparently doesn't qualify for the mission or whatever, Lance ends up spending more time with the red lion and the 10,000-year-old alien that's staying with him. Coran, also left behind, grows closer to Lance and both share some skeletons in the closet. For Lance, he's hiding something big, preferably not revealed to the rest of the team. And for Coran, let's just say his life isn't all smiles and happiness. When the rest of the team comes back, they are quite surprised to find out the resident goofball and the mechanic have become...closer, and they are hiding something. Can the team find out what the two were hiding? Did Lance gain any perks from bonding with his lion, which the rest of the team doesn't seem interested in? And what are the adoption laws in Outerspace? - Altean Lance AU! Don't like don't read, dw though it's not what this fic revolves around. There is a ship, LanceLot - Or Lance x Lotor or another one could be Klance- Lance x Keith Also, there is lots of fluff between Lance and Coran (Lance may or may not get adopted by him) :)

(After season 3). Has Klance, slight Keitor, and lots of Lancelot. The Paladins had found Voltron, and had defeated Lotor for now. Keith should be happy, he didn't have to be the Black Paladin anymore. Except that's not exactly how it played out. Lotor had different plans. What really happened to Shiro? Well, Keith wondered that too when Shiro delivered the New Black Paladin right into Lotor's clutches. Will Keith escape? Will Lance come to his boyfriend's rescue? (Yes, they're together in this).
