We had came back from Edolas, it was raining hard. Natsu, Erza, Gray, Happy, Carla, Wendy, and everyone else were safe. Then Natsu started crying out of no-where. Then I saw her, she was pretty with white hair. I never knew that she would change everything from then on. ------------------------------------------------------------

Lucy being a rich smart and 'perfect' girl has a secret. She has a crush on a certain pink haired boy. He wasn't the happiest boy in the world, but they can't ever be. The boy has a curse never to fall in love until he can love himself. Can Lucy get him to love himself? So they could be together.

Lucy has always treated her life like a game of chess, planning her moves accordingly. So far there wasn’t an obstacle or piece that she couldn’t move around and claim checkmate in the end. Don’t misunderstand it’s not that they don’t like each other, they just want to see who’s the better tactician. Join Natsu and Lucy as they go head to head in an intellectual battle to see who is the first to collect all the other’s pieces or claim Checkmate. School AU. Characters may seem a bit OOC. After completing a mission, Lucy is fed up by the constant need to be saved by her comrades. She grows tired of being the weakest link in the team and sets her mind on being stronger for her and the team. She goes away for as long as she needs to expand in both mental and physical strength. Her return causes drama in both her love life and friendships.
