Far away from the modern world was a small village surrounded by an endless forest. The forest was divided into two parts by a river - the south and north part. The people lived a peaceful life in the south part and could do whatever they wanted. There was only one simple rule: Never go into the north part! The other part of the forest was ruled by a 60 ft tall giant, who made sure no one ever set a foot in their part of the forest and was feared by everyone. But what happens if someone dares breaking this rule?

I've been in this community a while and had one large story that I've pretty much abandoned, and I think oneshots could help me get out what I need to get out without being constrained to one storyline! Caught in, quite literally, the most unfortunate scenario she could imagine, Maria is forced to serve one of the 4 most dangerous giants in her kingdom. She's obviously not too thrilled about it, either. But when a strange disease plagues her master and forces them to spend almost every minute with one another, Maria discovers that perhaps "dangerous" was an exaggeration. Though, even as her previous fears subside, it becomes obvious that there's something much darker going on beneath the surface of the relatively quiet kingdom.

A short story made for a contest. It's not my best best but I did this in 4 hours so so can't go back now lmao #gianttinysized2020 I've decided to make this story longer and basically make an epilogue really long and detailed.
