Kat ist hübsch, intelligent...aber sie hat einen echt miesen Ruf. Auf dem College wird ziemlich viel böses Zeug über sie verbreitet, jedoch stört das Kat nicht. Das redet sie sich zumindest ein. Sie kann sehr gut mir ihrem Ruf leben, obwohl die Sachen, die über sie verbreitet werden, nichts mehr als Lügen sind. Ihre üble Nachrede, schreckt nicht nur ihre Zimmergenossin, sondern auch alle anderen ab. Nur den selbstbewussten Frauenheld Haden scheint ihr Ruf nicht zu stören. Er zieht ihn sogar an. Jedoch sind Haden's siegessicheren und anzüglichen Anmachen alles andere als anziehend für Kat.
