Alex Mercer ran away from his toxic household, he's been living in three of his best friends houses once a night and day. He tried staying at Reggie's, but his parents would argue the whole day and night so he couldn't find any comfort there anyway. He stayed at Luke's house for a couple of days, but that didn't last long when his father tried looking for him. Now, he's safe and sound at Julie's. It's close to graduation and the band went to the mall to get some clothes for their celebrations and performance at the ceremony, then that's when Alex bumped into a skater.
