Beatrice Bridgerton is to say the most unhinged Bridgerton. Her twin brother being Benedict, making her the eldest daughter out of five but also the second oldest out of nine. She has been on the marriage market for 10 years. Mainly because of her uncouth behavior and her inability to read the room or keep her mouth shut. But she didn't care. She still had her family and she hated men anyways. So if anything it worked out in her favor. At least until her sister becomes the Diamond of the Season and the Duke of Hastings takes a liking to her. Her being the proactive and overprotective sister she is, she disguised herself as a man and followed her brothers to their club to collect information about Simon. Except she got caught almost immediately by one of the Queens sons, Orion. He didn't outright snitch on her, he was quite intrigued after hearing her plan and decided he would watch the act. Thought it failed, he was still intrigued. So intrigued for the first time in history he called upon her to court her. Much to her dismay and everyone else's shocked delight.

The new King has been crowned and is now peacefully running the kingdom. The city of Camelot is thriving under the new rule and many are beginning to wonder when the King will find himself a wife. All the women are fantasizing about being royalty, but only one girl stands a chance. Lucy is a simple seamstress with few desires other than taking care of her sister and living contently.
