A story of time, distance and patience. It wasn't love at first sight. It was gradual, slow and building. It first started with a little curiosity. It was only when they were in the middle that they realised but nothing was to be done for it. The world was in chaos as were their hearts until they had all but fallen apart. What would put them together again? ------- Jiang Cheng looked at the man at the head of the table every day, he would look down upon the class with a smile, like a statue. This was the man people spoke of as no.1 beauty in all of the cultivation lands. He truly was beautiful with features so enchanting, it was a blessing to be in the same room for many. To Jiang Cheng, there was just one problem. The smile. It was like one of those smiles where you smiled for too long and the smile started to look unreal. No one can smile that long like a carved statue. If Jiang Cheng looked long enough, he could sometimes see the smile faltering, the corner of the lips struggling to keep it up.

Summary: Zewu-jun. Lan Xichen was called by this name since it is his title. However, he doesn't know why that, of all many people, he would like to be called by one person - Jiang Cheng. He had taken for granted that person's presence. After that meeting with Jiang Cheng, Lan Xichen finally knew the word 'love'. The love that he always sees on his brother and Wei Wuxian, yet never really understood. This time, when he saw Jiang Cheng standing tall among the sea of people, he realized. His long asleep heart that always wanted to help people can't help but to beat for him. The man he always thought as a stranger, he never knew he wanted to be his partner now. However, as he had said, they are strangers to each other. Even now that they are brothers-in-law because of Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian's marriage, they didn't have something common between them. Can Lan Xichen overcome this obstacle between him and Jiang Cheng? How will he obtain Jiang Cheng - this 'stranger'? (A/N: just as I finished the Name, this popped up in my brain. Lan Qiren reminisces of his past when he was studying in Cloud Recesses. Doing so, he remembered a man in purple whom he forgot.

Jiang Cheng and Lan Xichen was stirred up by Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji's suggestion that they could end up with each other. Jiang Cheng got mad while Lan Xichen just forced a smile. It seems like... a nerve was hit.

"Being friend is nice. But being yours sounds better." I couldn't stand the Yunmeng brothers being nothing but strangers. So, in this story we'll see them tying their relationship again after all the incident that happened. And the seed of healing their relation would be none other then their sole nephew Jin Ling. He'll also learn to make friends. He just wanted to be friends, but then he notices, he holds more feeling for a certain Lan than he thinks of.
