Kyoka Jirou's mother died in a fatal accident. Her mother was the only person (aside from middle school bullies) that knew she was a lesbian. Faced with grief for the person she loved most, Kyoka's mental health went down the drain. Momo Yaoyorozu was raised in an abusive household. Her parents would beat her when she didn't reach their expectations, hence why she was a straight-A student. They had her life planned out for her; according to them, she was to marry Todoroki, her childhood friend, at a certain age, and have a set number of children. She's never told anyone about her situation at home; she's bottled it up for years. Both girls met in their first year at UA and have been best friends since. They're now 18 and in their final year. She watched in horror as her kingdom was being burned to ashes.She was completely helpless,surrounded by wild flames.Her eyes started to close,the last thing she saw was someone walking through flames towards her.
