Delia Prescott is a best-selling author hiding behind a pseudonym. To the world, she's the wild-child daughter of a powerful publishing empire wasting away her inheritance. In reality, she's the highest grossing author that saved the family name. Running a thriving bar and chasing inspiration across the world (and across the bar), Delia's determined to live life on her terms, even if it means hiding the truth from everyone she loves. Gabby Andrews has spent years carefully building walls around her heart, trading risk for safety after too many painful cracks to her heart. She's convinced love is a story for other people, choosing to stick within the walls she's built and the emergency department where she works. Until she walks into Delia's bar and meets a woman who makes her wonder if she's been hiding from her own unwritten story and potential happy ending. Gabby feels like a story Delia was always too afraid to write: vibrant, kind, and alarmingly real. Is Delia ready to step into the light, and finally write a story under her real name, and is she prepared to announce to the world the true identity of her pen-name? Is Gabby ready to make the leap and try for love one more time and be her honest self in the process? Will her work schedule cause another rift in her chance of connecting to someone again? Maybe in finding each other, there is a story they never knew was there to write... together.

𝗔 𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸. One, scarred by heartbreak so deep it reshaped her entire being. They call her Ms. Cold Stone. Thirty-three, cold hearted, distant, a quiet storm of confidence and tireless work. The other, a soul who learned to smile through the echoes of yesterday's bruises. Twenty-eight, an extroverted vessel of joy. Yet beneath the glow, imperfections linger, because perfection has never been the truth of anyone, has it? They stand as opposites, yet mirrors in subtle ways. What unfolds when two worlds collide? ------ "𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘧𝘭𝘢𝘸𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴" "𝘠𝘰𝘶'𝘳𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵" "𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘐'𝘮 𝘯𝘰𝘵" "𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘦. 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘦, 𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨"

If I needed to, I'd break every bone in my body just to feel her love. It's so soft and pure. It's not something you just throw away. She's not someone you just throw away. - Stella Perez.

Vivienne Winters-Crawford has always had everything. The penthouse childhood, the private schools, the kind of money that fixes problems before they even start. But now, fresh out of college with an art degree in one hand and independence in the other, she wants to experience being on her own. So she moves out. No staff, no safety net, just a cramped two-bedroom apartment and a roommate she's never expected. Aveline Parker is a ghost of a girl who prefers silence to survival. Grey eyes, jet black hair, and a presence that slips through rooms without a sound. No one knows what she's been through, except Estelle, the woman who gave her a job, a room, and a reason to stay. Aveline doesn't talk much. She doesn't trust. She just survives. When Vivienne answers an ad for a roommate, she never expects the other room to belong to a girl who barely speaks. But there's something magnetic about Aveline. Something quiet and aching. And despite the silence, despite the walls, things start to unravel. One moment at a time. One scar at a time. This isn't a love story born out of ease. It's a love story built in the healing. In the light that comes after the dark.

Nova Astrid has been acting since she was 13, and ever since her acting career started, she's been in intense competition with Milani Zaffrid; the spoiled rich girl who gets every tv role Nova works her ass off for. Nova works hard to avoid talking to Milani, which is hard considering they go to the same high school, and they've both been cast as rival characters in the same tv show. Unfortunately, it gets even harder for Nova when the co-writer Matt Davison loves their "off screen chemistry" and decides to make Nova's character Milani's character's love interest. Their intense rivalry gets in the way of their acting ability, and are forced to fake date as practise for the show, and get more comfortable with each other. Let's hope this doesn't awaken anything in them.
