A wedding invitation and a trip she would never forget, Clara Eleana Avalos regretted flying with him to Paris. He was relentlessly annoying and his jokes weren't even borderline funny and she was stuck with him. For a weeklong trip to a foreign country, Clara had no other choice but to be okay with his company. Besides, he's not that bad after all. He was actually accommodating, considerate, and . . . funny. He even went along with everything she wanted to do, even went to every place she wanted to visit on her itinerary. But it came as a surprise when they were mistaken for a couple. They decided to play along with the assumptions, and everything went well until their weeklong trip was over. Clara longed for his presence. She kept replaying the days they spent together in Paris. She wasn't planning on anything aside from keeping their friendship. She was already left at the altar; she doesn't want to go through it again when it only seems good at the beginning. She doesn't want someone who couldn't commit to her, but Clara never thought she'd fall in love once again. Once Again (Love in Paris # 2) Completed (2020).

Liking a person wasn't supposed to feel so encapsulating, but Una Madia Grajales freezes up whenever he's near. The knots and butterflies in her stomach makes her buckle and shut down and all she could do was gush about him to her best friend who was nothing but supportive. He cheered her on, gave her some pointers, he even made some adjustments just for her to spend some time with her crush. But down the line, Una realized she never cared for the butterflies. She didn't like freezing up neither the churning in her stomach. She wanted clear skies, warm blankets, fuzzy socks, and wistfully, the one who gave her a turtle plushie in the middle of the night-just because. And perhaps, she was too late to recognize that what she needed has always been there all along when he's already a thousand miles away. The chances were probably thin, but maybe it was exactly what they needed to begin again. Begin Again (Love in Paris # 4) Completed (2021).

Our intertwined fingers hidden from the light reflecting the whole room couldn't fill in the chasmic gaps of your relentlessly yearning heart. When the marvels of your scarlet lips plummeted on my skin for a kiss, I blamed you for leaving me in the lurch in the battle between yielding or defying, yet I chose to let all my guards down. Every kiss sated me to insanity, the fervid desire in my heart remained unmatched; you're drifting away to a place I could never get a hold of while I was wishing everything could be reciprocated the same way it was given. We buried our fairytale alongside other memories we convinced ourselves were meant for us to forget. I held on to it like sandㅡstill tangible yet I felt it trickling down the miniscule gaps of my hands, slipping away from my grip. Its derisive pinpricks burned through my flesh as a mere remembrance of a love soon to reach its closure. A few steps away from me stood an amber temptation; I was hypnotized by its gentle swirls as its droplets stuck on to the glass' rim. This velvet liquid courage seeped down my throat and controlled my insobriety, and unleashed my regrets from its chains. Right then, I knew denial was in no way going to save me now. I will never be over our story that ended in an addled chapter. Stand-alone (Epistolary) Completed
