Refresh March 2023. Trigger warnings: bereavement, grief. The premise for this story is that Jane Spring was always a cold mother to Charlie and Tori and didn't have the redemption that comes towards the end of Volume 4 of Heartstopper or in This Winter. There are influences from the graphic novels, the novels, the TV series and various fan fictions and theories and Alice's recent resumption of the series on Patreon. But no spoilers. I've just tweaked the language here and there, put in a couple of extra paragraphs, removed sentences that in retrospect I feel didn't need to be there. When I wrote the original of this, and my other story about the teachers in Staff Room, which I intend to revisit, it was almost a straight brain-to-paper spontaneous process. When I write stuff I let it sit as it is, for months sometimes, before I can return to it freshly, as though I'm reading it for the first time. It'll never be perfect and I might re-write it again at some point in the future. But I AM quite pleased with it all the same.

Heartstopper AU. Nick receives a grant to study 1 year abroad at an American university. He meets a lot of international students and begins to make a lot of friends while he founds himself. When his roomate turns to be the only other British guy in school they become inseparable. Nick begins to question his sexuality when he starts falling for this incredible and sweet guy, Charlie. Because in Nick Nelsons words, they would find each other in any universe. Smutt, fluff, all characters are 18+ The characters belong to the author Alice Osman. Hi, this is based in some personal experience studying abroad and of curse my love of Nick and Charlie. However this is my first attempt at writing a fanfic and english is not my first language, so please be kind :)

This is just something personal I wanted to share inspired by a fan fic I read that hit close to home. Names have been changed but it's a true story.

Nick and Charlie, from Alice Oseman's wonderful books and graphic novels are now in their early twenties and they are still in love. SMUT WARNING for a few chapters. I must give credit for the inspiration behind this story to a fellow member of a Facebook Heartstopper group, who commented on something I wrote there about imagining that the teacher's MUST have discussed Charlie and Nick between themselves at some point, unseen by the rest of us. In fact I'd written the basis of this story within an hour and have spent some time refining it ever since. All credit to Alice Oseman for creating the wonderful world of Heartstopper and all the great characters who exist in it. Please note: Mr. Ajayi's first name is in the Heartstopper cannon as Nathan, so obviously I've used that, however as neither Ms. Singh or Mr. Lange have their first names mentioned (as far as I know) I've used the actors' real names instead, so they are Chetna Singh and Alan Lange. In addition, according to Alice Oseman's list of characters although the pupils at Truham call Ms. Singh "Mrs Singh" her actual name is Singh Stevens, presumably a hyphenated combination of her and her wife's surnames. I've created back stories for them which may contradict events I've not yet noticed without a further re-read of the books.

It's the summer break of Charlie's first year at University. Excited to spend more time with boyfriend Nick and their friends, Charlie anticipates a wholesome two months of fun before the Paris Squad takes a vacation to a cabin in the woods. But when alcohol, insecurity, and pride are involved, young love is tested - let alone the isolation of a trip where he can't shake the feeling of being followed. This series will be Heartstopper fanfiction written as a TV script. Essentially, my imaginings of what season 2 could bring us (with some cues taken from the comics, but also some changes that fall more in line with the series). I have all the faith that Alice and the rest of the team will deliver something far beyond my expectations. But, in this pause between seasons, us obsessed fans need all the content we can get. It helps me to practice my writing and also hopefully other people will like it as well!

This should be read after Teach my Heart to Stop or it will not make much sense. Nick and Charlie have returned from their romantic holiday to France, newly engaged. They have a lot of planning and talking to do and talking, well, leads to other things. School will be back soon and there will be many changes and new challenges for Mr. Spring and Mr. Nelson to overcome together.

Gallavich Fanfic from Mickey's point of view. VERY smutty and emotional. This is a reimagining/sort of novelization of Shameless US from start to end. Many of the show's plot points will be used, but I am setting Ian and Mickey's age to 18 in season one and will condense some of the events of seasons 1 through 5. Though this story will play alongside some of these plot points, this story will have original content springing from the start of Mickey and Ian's relationship. There will be no homophobic or racial slurs, so Terry might not talk much. Because Mickey can be very offensive, I have toned him down a little.
