The battle was finally over. Bowser was defeated, the day was saved, and the Mario brothers were now heroes. However, their victory was short-lived after discovering the pipe back to the Mushroom Kingdom had been destroyed. Now stuck in the human world indefinitely, Peach, Toad, and Donkey Kong are taken in by Mario and Luigi, who will set out on a journey to find another warp pipe while also helping their friends navigate life in Brooklyn. And unbeknownst to the group, a certain Koopa king will escape to begin his plan to regain power and find a way back as well. But who will succeed first?
