Trans Eddie!! It started out as a oneshot but ended up being longer so here it is. Eddie is suffering with gender dysphoria and had a hard time living in a world that would never accept him. Will he continue living like this with a boyfriend named Steve Harrington or will he just decide the world isn't worth it.

Still homeless, Eddie begins to take interest in the friend that he helped conquer the Upside Down: Steve Harrington. His feelings are buried deep beneath trauma and fear, but with help, he begins to unravel his own identity. Steve struggles with his bisexuality and fear of coming out to the man he's beginning to fall for: Eddie Munson. He tries to reconcile them among friends, but his façade is slowly crumbling. This story contains strong language, violence, etc. Each chapter is prefaced with a trigger warning if needed.

Everyone knew Eddie 'the freak' Munson. Eddie 'the freak' Munson was well. A freak. He was what should have been a highschool dropout, he was a loser who spent his free time playing dnd and worst of all, he was a drug addict. Everyone knew Steve 'the hair' Harrington. Steve had great hair. He was some douchbag jock who fought anyone who challenged his title of "king of Hawkins high". Everyone said he won every fight, and everyone believes it. Or as normal as it could be after saving the world for the numerous time in a row. Though the only one who isn't used to this routine is Eddie Munson. Who was a freak before and now a huger freak who's also expected to just deal with the events that happened to him like the others had. With a group of teenagers who also don't know how to cope its a bit obvious none of them would be doing it in a healthy way. But when Eddie is their reality check that not everyone is the same, Steve is the one that clicks with Eddie the most out of them. Going on a journey of finding things to help Eddie heal, from going to the movies to even binging out on junk food something slowly starts to click in Steve's brain. That maybe it wasn't the girls he was having a problem with. Maybe it was him, who was the problem.
