A cheesy romance centered on marching band. Prepare to be amazed, grab some popcorn, and enjoy the best book we've ever written. Warning: it's the first book we've ever written. Disclaimer: This will make you want to watch chick flicks and eat pistachio ice cream. May cause side effects of staring at drum majors and wanting to meet the two fantastic authors. But seriously, go read it now. Please accept my apologies for grammatical errors or autocorrect going insane.

Erica Howard is the drum major of one fantastic marching band. Unfortunately, no one else at Southeast High seems to know it. The school's below-average performance on the football field has caused its students to lose enthusiasm for the once-electric rush of the Friday Night Lights- and that means no one is watching her band's amazing halftime shows. But when a groan-inducing group project finds her paired up with the goofy, muscular quarterback of the football team and the too-cool captain of the cheerleading squad, Erica is forced to realize that the members of the marching band aren't the only ones suffering from Southeast High's lack of athletic enthusiasm- and that all three of them might have something to gain from working together. This tale of finding love, friendship, and pride where you least expect will warm your heart and chill your arms, just like the best Friday nights in autumn always do.

He took a step closer, the smirk not leaving his face as he could sense my irritation. "I've been looking forward to this for far too long," he laughed, licking his lips. "And for once, I'm gonna be the one knocking the smug smile off of your face." My scowl deepened, confused as to what he was talking about. He took another step forward, standing close enough for me to get a whiff of his minty breath and aftershave. He leaned in towards my ear, speaking loud enough for only me to hear, "We'll settle this with the battle of the bands," *** [Completed] Kylie Thompson had it all; she had the perfect family, a handsome boyfriend, good grades, and she was apart of one of the best marching bands in the state. Within a year, that all changed. Her parents filed for divorce, her boyfriend broke up with her, her grades began to slip, and her band director passed away from kidney failure. All of this, and putting up with a guy in the rival band that is so cocky yet so cute. With these newfound troubles, will Kylie be able to keep her life from crumbling, or will a certain someone come along and sweep her off her feet?
