NOW PUBLISHED AND AVAILABLE AT RETAILERS AND ONLINE FOR SALE. A lot can change in ten years. Kate, Amaya, and Steve have been best friends since the second grade. Feelings grow while friendships fade, and the start of senior year finds them all in very different places. Kate feels lost after dumping her long-term boyfriend, the jock bully who sent Steve to the hospital and drove him away. Amaya's insecurities have led her to a string of bad choices and worse relationships. And Steve feels more comfortable rolling a 10-sided die with his raid party than actually hanging out with anyone. After three long years apart Steve jumps at the chance to see Kate and Amaya at Kate's "End of the Summer" party. None are sure where their friendship stands, but each hope for something more while fearing that a single admission of what they feel could tear them all apart again. With their night already on edge, Kate's Ex and a classmate with a grudge show up, each with their own agenda. As the sun goes down and the music turns up, all hell is ready to break loose.

❝Don't cross me, Angel.❞ Slinging dope isn't exactly the kind of extracurricular Angelica Moore would want listed on her college applications, but when her mother's meager paychecks can no longer stretch to the end of each month, Angelica realizes she might not have any other choice than to start dealing. Fortunately for her, no one suspects the girl with a perfect GPA to be anything short of an angel. Maverick Weir controls the market in Dayton High, having bullied his way into a marijuana monopoly. Angelica might have a strong mind for business and the school administration wrapped around her finger, but Mav isn't about to let some goody-two-shoes steal the keys to his kingdom. Neither of them are going to back down from a fight, but when the true enemy becomes their inescapable attraction for each other, the two just might make a pair of unlikely allies.
