The Paranormal Shadow Association provides funds for these newly independent shadows to attend college and pursue their own careers. Xie Lian is about to turn 18 and is excited about the graduation of his shadow, Hua Cheng. However, Hua Cheng has different plans. He is determined to build a successful career. LING WEN rather dislikes SHI QINGXUAN because of his ear piercing demeanor . - MU QING and FENG XIN are in business school and both practically frenemies yet they stay together and are best friends with XIE LIAN

Inside this forest, he found a pagoda, which he soon realised functioned as a gate of sorts that, once he stepped through it, led him to discover more about his kingdom, as well as himself, than he'd ever hoped to learn.
