With a sudden disruption, all the miners had no choice but to search for whatever had gotten into mines and almost cause the loss of mined energon into a deep, dark pit of the mines. However, when they find what had caused the chaos, it became a shock. A small, frightened sparkling had somehow found her way into the mines now found herself in the hands of someone most of the miners would consider to not be responsible for even caring for a sparkling. A red and blue bot named Orion Pax. With the two stunned, Orion found himself in an awkward situation. Especially as this sparkling bore some resemblance to Orion and his closest friend, D-16. Which quickly becomes a joke among the miners, despite the fact this sparkling clearly came from the city itself. However, with no record of any new sparklings in the medical database, and no information of who the parents of this sparkling might be, the two young mining bots find themselves forced to care for this sparkling as it was quickly decided she would become a mining bot just like them. Which left them both scrambling to learn to even how to care for a sparkling who demanded attention and formulated energon for herself. And that was made even more difficult as it was soon discovered that this sparkling's vocal processor was not functional. Meaning this young spark was mute, and possibly kicked out. However, as time goes by, they learn to teach the young spark to communicate without speech, and discover she had an extreme fear of Sentinel Prime. Neither Orion or D-16 understood the reason. Until one fateful day at the Iacon 5000
