She just wanted to get it off her chest and she was prepared to be called crazy by everyone who heard word of Max claiming to have time travel powers, she was even prepared to be called crazy by her best friend. You know the story. Max travels back to the bathroom. Chloe dies. And Arcadia Bay is saved. But the story doesn't end there. We'll never know what happened to Max during the five days leading up to the funeral. Until now.

Pricefield AU where Max grew up in Seattle and never met Chloe until high school. Blackwell has dual dorms and they got partnered up as dorm buddies. At first, she can't stand her roommate but Max soon falls for the rough and rowdy punk youth but must keep her feelings to herself since Chloe is in a relationship with a not so faithful Rachael Amber. Warren Graham, a boy Max thought to be 'just a friend', seems to want something that's clearly not there. Torn between being honest with her friend and herself, Max must make a difficult decision. Risk losing the one she loves, or gain some potentially dangerous enemies.

Dual POV This story starts off right after Max made the choice to sacrifice Arcadia Bay, leaving only her and Chloe as survivors. Without anywhere else to go, the duo hit the open road, desperate to run away from their past. Life is hard, and over the next few years, the weight of their consequences slowly start to affect her and Chloe's lives mentally and emotionally. Although she still has her powers, Max promised Chloe never to use them, but that doesn't stop the brunette from slipping up, especially when true danger presents itself which is more often than not. Karma sure seems to have it out for them. Have Max and Chloe finally escaped the grips of their past, or is there a bigger storm yet to come?
