L'ultima rivolta aveva portato all'accoltellamento di Ciro, Valletta invece era riuscito ad avere la meglio su Carmine. Entrambi in fin di vita, ma la speranza è l'ultima a morire, no? Ad aggiungersi a questo disastrato, ma intrigante quadretto giungeranno due nuovi personaggi, risorti dalle ceneri del passato di Ciro, che pensava di aver sepolto. In un continuo alternarsi tra passato e presente, si giostra quest'intricata storia. Di una cosa però sono sicura: non smetterà di lasciarvi col fiato sospeso, nemmeno per il tempo di un capitolo!
