"You're running away from a wedding?"
Dev asked, one brow raised.
Ananya smirked, leaning back against his SUV like she owned it.
"No. My wedding ran away from me."
He chuckled, low and lazy. "That's a new one. Bride abandoned at a dhaba in full lehenga."
She stepped closer, eyes locked.
"Don't act like you're not impressed."
He didn't flinch. Just looked at her like she was a riddle wrapped in fire.
"I don't do chaos."
She tilted her head. "Too bad. Chaos is exactly what I need right now."
And just like that - two broken strangers, one lost bride, and five days on the road together.
What could possibly go wrong?
What happens when a bride gets left behind at a roadside dhaba - by her own wedding caravan?
Ananya was supposed to be headed toward a fairy-tale hilltop wedding.
Instead, she ends up sipping chai with a stranger who's running from his past.
He's broody. She's furious.
And the road ahead?
Let's just say... it wasn't on the itinerary.
