When Wei Ying came back from the buriel mounds, although everyone didn't notice Lan Zhan did notice that something was wrong, and he didn't let it go. He decided to take Wei Ying to cloud recesses with him and help him. He realized quickly though, how much the Wen clan had affected Wei Ying, but he never left him, and so did the weird feelings that he had for him since he had first seen him.
