Synopsis: Ethan Cain was happy enough living a boring life in a boring world, one bullet later and he found himself wondering how the hell he's supposed to deal with intergalactic warlords, geniuses who try to destroy the planet every other day, with a whole bunch of utterly corrupt, needlessly controlling organisations who just have to own or destroy anyone who has the misfortune of standing out. Unfortunately for him, there's no way he wouldn't stand out with a constantly growing psychic prowess and a newfound appetite for power, ladies and the preservation of his freedom in a world dead-set on taking it away. *Oh, what a marvel!*

Shane is just a normal teenage boy attending Kuoh Academy. However, one day a meteorite crashes near the academy and what Shane finds is astonishing. His normal life will change dramatically as he finds himself in the middle of a war between the Devils, Fallen Angels, and Angels. How does his new power fair between the others? That is for him and his new partner to find out. This is my first Highschool DXD story. It will be a crossover with Venom in Marvel. Ever since a young age Issei hyoudou, son of Miki and Gorou Hyoudou has always suffered from intense bullying both at school and at home. The intense rumors of issei got so bad that his own parent started to abuse him and belittle him and showed more favortisum to his twin sister who is 10 minutes younger than him.She excels in all things study, athletic, teamwork and is overall insanely beautiful to the point she was one of the 3 great beauty's of the kouh academy

Issei lived a happy childhood, he had a loving mother and father and that's all he needed. Until one night men with black bird wings came and killed his parents. Fueled with rage, Issei awakens the boosted gear and slaughters the men that attacked his family. Unfortunately It was not enough and he was left broken and alone. It was not until a red haired Satan came and rescued the child and took him back to the underworld. Watch Issei make his mark as he becomes the most powerful red dragon emperor ever.

Issei actually speaks up regarding his hesitation to confess during one particular event after the graduation party. This story will be different than my usual ones because it will focus on his mental and emotional well-being.

(Better Red Then Dead was my first ever story. I enjoyed it but I felt that I could do better. In a way, it is the same story but it isn't. A lot of various changes have been made in comparison to the first one. Some things will still be the same, some things will change.) The world is full of many different individuals and many different secrets. Does god exist? Someone knows probably. Does the devil exist? What about aliens? What the fuck is real and what isn't? Who are you? You're you. Only a handful of people know the things you've done in your life. You ain't the smartest guy of the strongest... and certainly not the most handsome or nicest. So what makes you special? Well you got guts and a good heart despite what I just said. Joined the U.S. Army right out of highschool back in the good ol' commie state of California because fuck college and because it seemed like a cool idea at the time. What a dumb ass idea that was. Fast foward almost five years you're finally living your life free from the government teat after being medically seperated for injuries you recieved while conducting D.A.R.T. missions throughout Afghanistan. You thought taking a trip to Japan would be a great way to destress before you face normal civilian life head on. Well how wrong you were...

What happens when a human with shinigami powers is asked to take care of the dark king's daughter?

What if Issei wasn't nearly what people portrayed him to be or assumed him to be? What if there was a much deeper person behind those amber pools that have grown so dull? Would you reach out and try to help a boy so dejected that he can't look you in the eye? A common place thought yet something often overlooked. Can you truly "look at the elephant in the room" let alone help it? Also, I hope you like a very playful and forward Koneko. I'm enjoying writing her. Issei won't be dense in the slightest, I plan to write him as emotionally tactful and intelligent if not more then a little broken. Mild T/W for some of you, This will depict pretty graphic and dark scenes of depression come later into the story and possible self harm. You were warned. Very possible danger of Lemons or Limes. Sorry not sorry. One small difference within' this story. The purge of the Nekomata/Nekoshou hasn't happened and won't happen in this story. This will be a good mix of Feels, fluff and some lighter moments as our favorite boy gets what he deserves the most in life, A chance to actually be happy. I don't have it in me to go full dark and gritty with this one. Unsure if I'll take this the whole vast harem route, Koneko/Kuroka/Artemis are the main girls Period. TL;DR I don't own Highschool DXD yada yada. || I will be commissioning art for the cover and all later. Tags will be updated as the story develops.

This will be heavily breaking cannon from DxD and honestly? I wanted to see something different then what I see from every story ever. So, This is my attempt at that. There will be some heavier themes of graphic violence, Some darker themes of emotional breakdowns as well as growth being properly shown, trauma being handled over time and connections being genuinely formed rather then glossing over the issues at hand. (P.S. I hope the pun in the title hurts you. That is all) This story will begin during the fight with Trihexa within my own version of the universe so everything will play out in a very, very different manner then the original encounter. Grayfia will not be married to Sirzech's due to the trauma involving her brother Euclid, There will be some interesting news with Raynare, 80 Devil pillar families instead of 72 through some interesting twists.. and much more within' my story. Issei will not be nearly as dense nor perverse, In fact he's going to be a lot smarter then you'd expect this time around. This is a work in progress and some-what of a one shot idea, I'm not sure how far I will take it. If people really do like it I will continue it indefinitely. Characters and situations will be slowly introduced rather then rushing the pace, Please don't try to rush me.
