These are not necessarily my exact predictions of where Queen of Nothing will pick up when it comes out next year, but there are elements to this story that I think could play a huge role in the third book in the series. ***MAJOR WICKED KING SPOILERS (set two months after end of book)*** Back in the normal world, Jude is desperate to return to Faerie. So when the High King Cardan turns up unexpectedly on her doorstep, she sees a chance to use him to find a way home. But Jude and Cardan have been playing each other for a long time, and neither can hold up their charades for ever. The night will turn out very differently to what both had planned.
