When America discovers a portal to the mysterious Special Region, a land of dragons, magic, and ancient empires, the U.S. military embarks on an unprecedented mission to secure its treasures and power. But their invasion sparks a ripple of chaos, unearthing alliances and rivalries among the region's factions. As the war rages, a new threat emerges-cybernetic invaders from another dimension, drawn to the Special Region's unique magical energy. Faced with an advanced and relentless enemy, the Americans must form an uneasy alliance with the powerful Velthar Dominion and local city-states to prevent the Synthari-a race of machine-enhanced beings-from conquering the Special Region and using its power to dominate all worlds. As soldiers, mages, and mysterious hybrids fight to protect the Special Region, the fragile balance between magic and technology teeters on the brink. Amid betrayals, devastating battles, and unimaginable sacrifices, one question looms: how far will humanity go to control the unknown-and at what cost? A gripping tale of war, diplomacy, and survival, Gate: Shadows of the Unknown reimagines the clash between modern Earth and a fantastical realm, where the greatest threat comes not from within, but beyond.

The year is 2030. The United States of America is enjoying a relative peace time. While there are still tensions around the world, the U.S. has managed to avoid any major conflicts. That was until a mysterious medieval-looking structure appeared out of nowhere in the middle of Washington D.C. Suddenly, the nation's capital is under attack by a medieval-style army and creatures only seen in fantasy stories. This mysterious army, however, soon realizes that they stepped on the dragon's tail. This story is based off the anime/manga series, Gate, but follows a different storyline and characters. I do not own Gate, but the story and characters in this story are mine.

After the Countryhumans witness a boring teenager get hit by Truck-Kun on UN's birthday, they find themselves dealing with a cliche anime Isekai world named Arachnid after a gateway opens up, connecting both worlds. However, it appears King Sadan, the king of the Atreti Empire (or The Empire), wants a taste of ruling over all of Pangea. In the world of Arachnid, the CH have to deal with dragons, knights, monsters, and the supposedly "main Isekai character" that goes by the name of Hinkari, that has a personality of a rock and oddly has a harem, who views them as a threat and the villains of his story. Tensions are rising as the CH have to find a way to calm the situation down before citizens of both sides get killed in the crossfire, all while trying to not get killed in the process. Or before something that was put into a slumber long ago wakes up and wreaks havoc to both worlds. -- Spoilers: This story is suppose to make fun of the typical/cliche Isekai anime shows. The story line is inspired by GATE: And So the JSDF fought anime (mainly on the first few chapters before it starts going into a different path) Art cover done by me! On an otherwise peaceful summer day in Tokyo, the tranquility of Ginza is shattered by a brutal attack, leaving thousands dead in the streets. In the aftermath, the question arises: who is responsible, and how should they be held to account? Initially believed to be a terrorist attack, the truth emerges that the assailants are legionnaires, Orks, and dragons emerging from a mysterious gate that has opened in Ginza, revealing a portal to a parallel world. With news of the incident spreading worldwide, Japan accepts assistance from the United States who dispatch a Marine Expeditionary Unit to Tokyo, determined to push through the portal and confront the unknown. What lies beyond the Gate is more than just an enemy, it's an entire civilization, steeped in its own conflicts and politics. As the clash of worlds intensifies, the struggle is no longer just about vengeance. it's about the fate of two realms forever changed by the opening of the Gate. Cover Art custom commissioned by the author and made by Hawari on Fiverr. Ranked #1 #gate 3/3/25 DISCLAIMER: I do not own Gate nor the images I'm using. I'm writing this story based on the Anime, I never read the manga or the novel. Despite the title, the story introduces a vast expansion in the world and lore of gate as well as changes, but everything remains true to the Gate formula. At first It was supposed to be only a Gate X Marine fanfic but over time it developed into an alternative plot line diverging from the original so don't be surprised why the first season strictly sticks to canon.

Kazakhstan is being geographically transferred, along with all the people within its borders, to another world. I will try to suck out an interesting story from this, avoiding the paths trodden by the author of the original work, so that the reader familiar with the universe does not get bored. I will avoid real political events, although I will touch on them indirectly, as they are important for describing the views and interests of the Kazakh authorities and their policies in the new world. Have fun reading.
