That was until a mysterious medieval-looking structure appeared out of nowhere in the middle of Washington D.C. Suddenly, the nation's capital is under attack by a medieval-style army and creatures only seen in fantasy stories. This mysterious army, however, soon realizes that they stepped on the dragon's tail. This story is based off the anime/manga series, Gate, but follows a different storyline and characters. I do not own Gate, but the story and characters in this story are mine.

I will try to suck out an interesting story from this, avoiding the paths trodden by the author of the original work, so that the reader familiar with the universe does not get bored. I will avoid real political events, although I will touch on them indirectly, as they are important for describing the views and interests of the Kazakh authorities and their policies in the new world.
