Donna, Vance, and Griffin are step-siblings with Vance and Donna being biologically related and Griffin being their step-brother. Vance and Donna are French Finney is Italian Before moving to the States, Donna and Vance's last name was Auclair, after moving, they changed their last names to blend in. Vance changed his to Hopper, Donna changed her to Clarke so no one knew they were related after Vance developed his delinquent reputation. Also, the two have heavy French accents, and broken english :) Finney, originally Finney D'Amato, had his last name changed to Blake by his father when they moved to the states from Italy. Mr.Blake is not abusive in this story, he's working on being better for his son. Gwen is not included in this storyline because she stayed in Italy with her aunt. In a shocking twist Bruce finds himself in detention and sitting right in front of town's bad boy, Vance Hopper. They spend detention together, and walk home right after. Though..when Vance sees his father on his home's porch with a gun he decides it'd be better to stay away from home. After one night at Bruce's they start talking, which leads to them becoming friends, which leads to something more. Not my original characters!! In which Vance is an out of place person, like usual. He gets held back twice, and when he decides to tell bruce he likes him at the beginning of his eleventh grade year, things get a little off track. (vance began liking bruce during their ninth grade year) this is technically completed, but it is an abrupt ending as i lost all motivation to continue writing this story 🙃 this is very loosely based off the song "Vampire Empire" by Big Thief.
