A few years later she meets a woman named Evelyn and her brother Jonathan. They find a map to Hammunaptra, The City of the Dead. Jess offers to take them. All she wants from from is to help her find her father, Rick O'Connel. They find him and at first, Evy and him do NOT get along. Rick and Jess take them to Hammunaprta, but with some difficulties. Once they get there they begin an expadition. There, Jess reunites with a handsome yet mysterious medjai. He tells her repeatedly to leave and never return but she's bound by the job she's been paid to do. Soon enough things get worse. Along the way, her Dad, Evy, Jonathan, the mysterious medjai, and Jess get close. read about the journey they have.
