Shelley Touris needed a change. With America long gone and a castle filled with evil and hate, she knew something needed to be done. She was finished with just watching all the malicious acts in the palace grow worse and worse. All of her life, Shelley's had a front row seat at the horrors that occur in the castle walls when all the cameras are gone. My eyes flew open. Uh oh.' Alana Smith has suffered a lot over the past two years. She stays strong for her brother Cory's sake even if sometimes she's just pretending. She has never told anyone how much she's hurting inside and how much she misses her parents. Alana has grown up much faster than any other teenager that she knows. She is practically Cory's mum. Cory and Alana move around from family member to family member with what little they have and when they are on their way to New Zealand to live with their aunt for the summer, there is a flight mix up.
