Reflections
Luvmaliah
Sixteen-year-old Malia has always felt like a Pogue at heart, even while growing up in the tough streets of Harlem. After the tragic loss of her mother to addiction, she moves to the beautiful Outer Banks to live with the father she despises-a man who left her behind for a life of luxury as a Kook. Surrounded by sparkling beaches and fancy parties, Malia struggles to fit in and longs for the freedom and friendship she once knew.
Things take a turn when she meets Pope, a smart and loyal member of the Pogues led by the adventurous John B. From their first meeting, there's an instant connection; Pope's determination and kindness draw Malia in, making her feel seen for the first time. However, her new life gets complicated when she encounters Rafe Cameron-the wild son of a rich Kook family. What starts as a rivalry between Malia and Rafe quickly turns into something more intense, filled with sparks and tension.
As she tries to find her place, Malia feels pressure from her father's expectations, especially from his son Kelce, who wants her to embrace the Kook lifestyle. Kelce insists that fitting in with the wealthy crowd is the way to go, pushing Malia further from her true self. Caught between the friendship and camaraderie of the Pogues and the dangerous allure of Rafe, Malia faces some tough decisions.
In a world where the lines between friends and enemies blur, Malia must decide whether to follow her heart toward Pope, who truly understands her, or be drawn in by the chaos and excitement of Rafe.
"Reflections" tells a heartfelt story about love, loyalty, and finding yourself. Will Malia find her place with the Pogues and the love she craves, or will the pull of Rafe lead her down a darker path? With adventure around every corner and emotions running high, Malia's journey will help her discover who she really is and what she truly wants.
