This story is based on the YouTube video by The Stupendous Wave, detailing what might've happened if Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader had survived the second Death Star (I also added a few extra scenes). The storyline belongs to The Stupendous Wave (except the extra scenes I added), and some of the wording from the original video is also repeated in this "what-if" story. However, I will admit that along the way, much of this short story was morphed into basically Anakin cuddling his children (which was something that I personally wanted to see happen). I know this strays from the original plot line, and I'm sincerely sorry, but I simply couldn't fight the urge to add these extra, "fluffier" scenes. (Again, I'm sorry if you'd rather have read a version that stuck solely to the original Youtube video.) All characters are the property of Disney and Lucasfilm, no copyright infringement intended. -Yes, I know I'm just a beginner at writing, but I really wanted to write this to give Anakin a happier ending, so hopefully The Stupendous Wave doesn't mind me doing this. "You!" Vader yelled. Something within Vader caused him to look back at the boy, and then to both Owen and Beru. There was no way that boy was theirs. There was no similarity. "You lie!"
