Harper isn't like the other humans, and in a vampire dominant world, that's a bad thing. She lives with her family in the vamp's human compounds, exchanging their blood for safety from the zombies outside. She's always passed as normal - until something in her changes. Once a new vamp, Hector, targets her for his favorite new hobby, things start to get weird....and dangerous.
