Warning ! Season 15 SPOILER! In this story, the characters are humans alright, not toys ! ;) When Nya merges with the ocean, Jay decides to step back from his Ninja life. But things will never be the same again. This is a one-shot because it is actually the first time I write any fictional work ! NOT A ONE-SHOT ANYMORE HAHA! I read a lot of great fanfictions from @masterofcupcakes or @beep24 and @the_lightning_ninja and wanted to give it a go. And this took me a while to write and edit already (very busy family life !). When Jay finds a letter that was written by his birth mom to him, telling him she hid something for him to find, he sets off on a mission to find what she hid for him. Will he find what his mother hid for him and finally get answers for why she abandoned him, or will it just lead to more questions?

After Jay's sudden death, Nya grieves. But, in a lightning storm, she can't help but feel that he is there, very much alive. Does she merely miss him, or is the Ninja of Lightning really alive? And if he's alive, is he alright? I do not own Ninjago. (crossposted on Fanfiction.net)
