Gon had a deep past since he was 12 years of age. His family was torn apart by his father named Ging. He blames him for everything that he had done and wants to kill him for it. Now he's 18 years of age. Living in his own apartment and able to go to school on Whale Island. While trying to have a normal life, Ging comes and tries to kills him off with no prevail by every chance he gets. He doesn't believe happiness can happen in his life ever again. All my life I had never really experienced any hardships. Most people would say that I had the perfect life. That wasn't that far off from the truth. I had a nice home, a childhood best friend, I was popular at school, and even landed myself a girlfriend. I took it all for granted... I thought everything would be perfect like that forever. Thinking that was the biggest mistake I made. Little did I know, that in 12 hours, all of that was about to change. I'd be somewhere that shouldn't even exist. Somewhere completely unfamiliar.
