He'd do his time, but he'd be anything but happy about doing so, especially because he didn't know the first thing about being an editor. Enter his new assistant, Wyatt Tate. Wyatt was desperate for a job- any job. After the rent was raised in the apartment she shared with her father and siblings in Brooklyn, she took a job that she was over qualified for. Her grad school classmate, Hannah, was able to get her an interview to be an assistant editor at Sinclair publishing house. Her entitled 'boss' hired her because she was the only applicant that wasn't male. She made it clear, on day one, that she wasn't in the habit of taking orders from anyone, let alone a man who didn't know how to do his job. A job that she would kill to have, but he just walked into because of his last name.
