Amber moves to a new school. Charles Page High School in Sand Springs, Tulsa. She moved from Broken Arrow, just out side of Tulsa. She'd lived there her whole life with her mother, but has to move in with her dad when she dies from cancer. On her first day at CPHS she meets Alex Johnson, he's absolutely gorgeous, to die for even. But Amber is the type to shy away from other people. She likes to keep to herself. So she surprises herself when she seems to get along with him and also opens up to him and tells him things she wouldn't tell someone she's known for ages. The thing is she just keeps telling him things and she has no idea why. She also thinks that he is way out of her league, she doesn't think pretty enough, even though he always calls her beautiful, so it's a big surprise when he admits he has some feelings towards her, the only problem is she gave up on him and got a boyfriend. What will she do? Will she pick Alex or pick the other guy? Only time will tell.

They become best friends again, but she spends a lot of time with him and not much with her other friends, what will happen to her friendships?
