Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark have been lovers for seventy five years, never one without the other- but with Peeta now dangerously ill in hospital what will happen? My name is Katniss Everdeen. I am eighteen years old. I survived The Hunger Games twice. Peeta was hijacked. He was rescued and he's fighting to return to his old self. I led the revolution that led to the fall of President Snow. Snow. Snow is dead. Coin is dead. Boggs is dead. Finnick is dead. Prim is dead. Everyone is dead and it's my fault. It's my fault. __ Even though the Hunger Games are gone, reduced to the hauntingly horrifying memory of those who took place in it, the demons of Katniss Everdeen's past loom over her, with her wherever she goes. Though she will learn to cope with her losses with the help of Peeta Mellark, whom she holds closely to her heart. Together, the two will help each other to become new people and start their lives again, braving all of the new horrors and setbacks to come with the other by their side. ~There are much worse games to play~ I don't own The Hunger Games. This is my first fanfic but here it goes. Katniss can no longer fight the feeling inside her. The feeling of true pure love for her boy with the bread. When nightmares plague her dreams she knows that he's the only one who can help. See how Katniss and Peeta grow back together in my interpretation of what happened after Peeta planted the primroses.

This story is for Everlark shippers, so Katniss is not going to run off with Gale or something. Katniss is very happy with Peeta. They have everything by having each other, but they aren't married. Yet. When will Peeta ask? How will she react when she suddenly gets an unexpected visit by Gale, who has ignored her for two years? Read and get the answers to these questions.
