Robin's faded crush sparks back to life when she gets up close and personal with Nancy Wheeler.

After their encounter with the upside down, Robin and Steve have been inflicted with a grotesque form of Hanahaki disease. Eddie and Nancy do their best to help them through their illness. Little do they know they're the cure. Now, Steve and Robin have to go through one hell of an emotional journey to save their lives. (Taking place after all the action of season 4, V2 isn't out yet so we'll just say everyone lived and the world is saved. Also almost no mention of the California party.)

One year passed since the battle of Starcourt, Robin and Nancy became great friends, but Steve is always mocking Robin about how he thinks they would be a good couple. Jonathan breaks up with Nancy due to the distance, and Robin helps Nancy to get over him. At a party the girls get drunk, and in a wild truth or dare game Robin has to kiss Nancy, and she realizes; she feels more for her than friendship. Nancy enjoyed the kiss too, what was new for her, because she thought she was straight, but now she's not sure. One day Steve tells them the Demogorgon kidnapped Jonathan, so they have to save him. But Robin's scared - what if after they meet Nancy will choose Jonathan?
