In this story the reader is not a Nightfury like all the others. They are a dragon killer, a Deathgripper! They seem to have a friend too! It's a Hobblegrunt, what an odd pair. Follow the reader and their friend as they explore the archipelago together, maybe run into some pesky dragon riders on the way. This fic was in process 48 days, which is nearly seven weeks.

(it's on Netflix watch it-) obviously I don't own most if not all the characters in this book, DreamWorks made the movies- watch them too- ok- now that you definitely done that, here's a bit of the intro- y/n's pov. the Blazing sun was just about to set as I got back to my city made of sandstone, people getting ready to go to bed because once the sun goes down the desert gets icy cold. I get over to my house intime and close the door, and lock it with an intricate lock I commissioned from a metalworker, who was confused seeing as most people didn't have even basic locks on their homes- much less a metal one. I sighed as cold air started to seep through the bottom of the door, I lit a fire in the fire place too keep the cold at bay as I sleep. I walk over to my bed and flop over onto it- the wool mattress feeling much more comfortable than the hay it was before as I fall asleep. when I wake up I make sure to put the fire out and read on of the vast amount of books and scrolls I have collected over the years. some talk about forgein lands with oceans from horizon to horizon- while others have wonderful storys. but one of my many favorite is a books about two friends who grew apart because of a war (lisen I like she-ra the netflix adaptation-). then there's this book I have about a young man who murdered someone and had to lie and frame it on someone else. I only learned recently that this type of book is physiological, I really like it. I continued to read and waste the time away by doing basically nothing. then I heard noises, thumping in the sand, glass shattering, people yelling, and some screaming- what is happening? I dont have windows on my house so I have no clue- I peek through the cracks inbetween my door and the wall- it seems as though dragon hunters were pillaging the city- I turn around about to go and pack up when I heard a loud bang at my door. Sorry that was long lol.

Since Berkians can remember, every person in the teenage years will gain the ability to shapeshift into their spirit animal. You don't know what age you'll gain the ability exactly but it always happens in your teens. Throughout Berkian history, not one Viking has ever had a dragon as their spiritual form. From what I'm guessing it's because Vikings loath dragons so much, hating dragons is part of their personality so it makes no sense for a dragon loathing Viking to be a dragon. I wonder what would happen if a Berkian turned into a dragon? Third Person POV

Stoick was proud of his son, he had almost lost hope in him. Now, he proved everyone wrong, or so they thought. Hiccup wanted nothing more than to have this chance his entire life! However, that was before he met and bonded with Toothless, a night fury he had shot down weeks ago. Now, he wanted to escape, but not without attempting to convince the vikings that dragons weren't the real threat. He thought his monstrous nightmare match would be the perfect setting for such a feat. When things go sideways, when Toothless saves Hiccup, he has a choice, stay and try one last shot of convincing Berk, or flee with his best friend. He chooses the best option, he flees. Now, he is branded as a trator, a renegade. Stoick practically disowns him and he is never heard from again. five years later, Berk hears mighty tales of a grand hero who rides a night fury. Many call him 'Night Rider', 'Dragon Tamer', and 'Mysterious Rider'. Many doubted that this hero could be their traitorous ex heir to the Berkian leadership. After all, he was described as having a prosthetic leg, very tall, confident, and extremely buffed, while Hiccup was the opposite of all these descriptions. But... why then, has this new hero never visited Berk? And what will happen when he finally dose? Feel free to comment! I will also edit things I want everything to be amazing. But little did she know that the dragon would change her life forever. I just want to be honest that this idea was stuck in my head for weeks, this also my version of the story and I don't any of the characters
