Jack, Alex, and Libbie. The three of them are happy, living their perfect lives together as a beautiful family. Although, on a fateful night, Jack and Alex's relationship is put to the test. Jack isn't sure if he can trust his husband anymore, and really, he isn't sure if he ever will be able to again. More and more things pile up until Alex can't handle it anymore. They split, leaving them to share their own daughter, but Jack is at his breaking point. Things soon get back on track, but after Jack finds out some life changing news, he's not sure if he can tell Alex, for the fear of being kicked out of his life for good.

Alex and Jack have been internet friends forever, and thank goodness they only live three hours away from each other, but the distance seems so far sometimes. Maybe everything will pan out. Alex doubts it will, because his only friend lives in New York City, he's beaten on a daily basis, and the only safe place for him seems to be in New York City. There are mentions of abuse in this story, so consider yourselves warned!

Jack Barakat has had enough of being upset with his life and is taking charge of his own happiness. He pledges to never revert back to his old self, and be who he truly is. Even if who he truly is attracts Alex Gaskarth, the asshole.
