Best friends clary and jace have just bought an apartment together to save money. Jace is a player and clary is in a steady relationship with jaces old high school friend Sebastian. Clary dares jace that he can't make a girl fall in love with him in six months but what happens when clary is the one that ends up falling for her sarcastic golden best friend even after she gets engaged. Will they continue with their skinny love or finally admit their feelings to each other before it's too late and there's no going back?

Clary was rescued from a group of shadowhunters from the future, who trained her for two years and gave her a disguise rune. Clary comes to live at the institute again under a new name but can't tell Jace or anyone who she really is. She now has to conceal her feelings.
