meraki [may-rah-kee] (noun): when something is done with soul, creativity, or love; when you leave a piece of yourself in your work. No matter what I write, a part of me ends up among the words. A collection of poems.

"I know that sometimes for people, I feel like too much; But let me kiss away the phantom pain that the scars remind you of, Let me kiss the burns on your hands, From when you touched the burning fire within my soul. Let me show you that yes, I am too much. I am too much, to be let go." Number 73 in the 2017 Literary Awards Completed 12/21/16 My 1st poetry book.

Drops of Poetry It's raining outside my window Just like my emotions inside me The taste of the salty rain and sorrow Every problem falls on me like rain I catch it with my hand Turning it to rhymes and names I'm soaking wet from where I stand I don't care if I'm under a storm All I know is those little drops are stories Every day I learn new things from this horror But I can turn them into drops of poetries. This is a compilation of my poems :)
