will is the president of the belittled flower club; also known as the sissy club to bullies. when the bullying gets violent, mike wheeler, one of the most popular boys in school, decides to join the club in attempt to end the bullying, but he finds a lot more than flowers.

Everyone thinks Mike is deeply in love with Jane/Eleven Hopper. But he doesn't feel that strongly towards her. He tries to convince himself he is by spending so much time with her. But what he doesn't know is that while he's trying to love El, his best friend is broken and trying not to love him. Will is a hurt soul. Broken. He used to have a safe place, Mike. That changed when Eleven came back. It's like Mike forgot all about him. On top of that, he's slowly drifting away from the party. He's getting lost in his depression. His anxiety at it's worst. The bullying got worse, and he has nobody to stand up for him. He wants to end it all. He wants to feel free. But he has to understand......it will rain.
