After the sludge incident, Izuku Midoriya's dream was officially crushed. However, a later experience takes the boy in a new direction. Izuku had never really contemplated being a detective, but his whole life he'd only ever wanted to help people with a smile on his face. Thanks to some luck and an entire police station, Izuku's dream is reborn.

Bakugo watched him fall. He watched them declare Deku dead. He watched as his mother cried in the hospital with the grief filling his chest. How the hell was he alive? And why the hell did he scale the building to the classroom window? "Hey do you mind letting me in?" Izuku asked his best friend through the glass after knocking. The other classmates looked at the window in shock and horror of who exactly was there. "Wait, What?... HOW IN THE HELL?!?"Bakugo screamed at the sight of his recently dead friend. "Heh. Yeah. No idea either." Izuku shrugged, his stitched up neck being very exposed in his funeral suit. I don't own MHA/BNHA or any pictures used. This is a fanfiction. This is also more of a crack fic taken seriously so like starts off really crack but then gets kind of serious and funny down the line.

At school, he was harshly bullied by his peers for his apparent Quirklessness. At home, his alcoholic mother ignored his existence unless it was to beat him for being useless. Fleeting voices told his that none of this was right, but he took it all with a plastic smile. For years, Izuku endured this treatment until, one day, he broke. Izuku wakes up in an alleyway with no memory of where he was or how he got there. Armed with only his wit, a backpack and the clothes on his back, he somehow manages to befriend the least likely of people and finds a new family at the same time.

Izuku midoryas life had always been hard. from when his father left, to when he was diagnosed quirkless, to his mother abusing him, but even then he never gave up, until now mabye it was his horrible night of no sleep or his lunch being tossed out by bullies or kacchan suicide baiting him or mabye all might crushing his dreams but either way he couldn't take it anymore, he just wanted to end the pain, to find his salvation in the dark flashing clouds, who knew that salvation would come in the midst of a storm and bright red wings [TW!] this story may have very heavy and dark themes, PLEASE do not read the following chapters if they contain something that could possibly trigger you!
