7 years is a long time. Enough time to let go of past grudges and to finally live life as it should be. Especially for young 24 year old, Nico di Angelo, who had spent the last 7 years building a name for himself in the acting and music industries. He had been nominated for Oscars and many more awards, once winning Album of the Year at the Grammy's, and a handful of Teen Choice trophies, though he didn't really care for it much. He had ripped through boys quick, most relationships not lasting past a month due to busy schedules on both ends. And it was easy to ignore his ex, Will Solace, from high school. Even if his books-turned-into-movies were an agonizing reminder, even if social media was in love with him and his author charm. Because he had moved to France, while Nico stayed in New York. That was, until, Nico was forced into an arranged PR relationship with Jason Grace, a straight actor who was under-fire for homophobic tweets, and Will moved to New York-with a boyfriend. Now living in the same city, they begin to grow mixed feelings for each other, both keeping it bottled up until they all unleash. And with the public watching, things aren't going to be pretty.

after just moving to a new state and new school, nico di angelo is suffering with lack of understanding. he doesn't really know himself, as weird as that may sound, but he doesn't want to. he wished to be as one-dimensional as possible, someone to lay low in the background. that was until he met Will Solace, an optimistic theatre actor with a distant background. With Will constantly pulling him into the spotlight, he has no choice but to discover himself and break out of his shell.

All his life, Nico di Angelo has dreamed of being a New York City musical theatre actor - and after years of hard work, he makes it, and life couldn't be better. He's starring in a show on Broadway with his two best friends - that is, until an accident at rehearsal sets him back - way back. After being taken to the hospital, Nico meets a boy named Will working there, who's to graduate medical school soon. And suddenly, being in the hospital doesn't seem as bad.
