Everyone knows that going to a new school can be tough, especially when you're like y/n. Quiet, soft, and easily frightened. She tries her best to stay out of other's way and keep away from the bullies. Gerard isn't exactly the nicest guy at school. Him and his friends are the school's punks. No one messes with them or God knows what'll happen. So the boys always take advantage of their power to do whatever they want, and get whatever they want. And Gerard just so happens to want y/n. Gerard tells her that he's going to 'protect' her from the bad guys, when really he is one. Will he get this soft girl's heart? Or will she do what she can to stay away from him?

Gerard has no idea that Nyxia will change his and his friends' lives in ways no one could have fathomed. And Nyxia has no idea what she is meant to be in this new and dangerous world that she's been dragged into. But as the two begin to fall for each other, which should be impossible, they dig themselves deeper into a grave that may be impossible to escape. Two walking impossibilities, a forbidden love. This is my first fanfic woop woop! It's a Gerard Way x Female reader and I hope you enjoy it. Also if you don't know French, (the book itself is English don't worry) the title means 'protect me' (sorry for the grammar it was based off of the Placebo song).
