23 year old Morgan Bellamy has tunnel vision. She works tirelessly to take care of the people she loves, putting their needs before her own, until she meets someone who put her first. The eye of the storm, a moment of peace, a breath of calm. While she felt like everything was crashing down around her, he was her exhale.

"You trust me?" he asked, eyes turning soft once they made contact. "Maj, I-I-" "I said do you trust me, Lucky?" he repeated, voice hard. "...yes," she breathed out, and his next words came without hesitation, sending a chill down her spine. "Then shoot."

Christopher isn't as much as a star student, he's not great when it comes to school, but he's a social butterfly and popular with girls. After being assigned as permanent partners in a class, the pair (who aren't very fond of each other) find themselves growing closer over a rumor, a fake relationship, and their common struggle with abuse and family issues.
